Time4Diversity was an international project funded with the support of the European Commission in the frame of the Erasmus+ Programme as a Strategic Partnership for Youth. The handbook is a useful source for institutions and organisations to foster intercultural understanding among pupils especially in vocational schools and to help them to deal with conflicts constructively. The aim of the manual is to provide a framework for civil courage in youth work and international voluntary projects. This manual, created by trainers, introduces a collection of methods, activities, initiatives and projects on how to teach and promote civil courage. All methods have been implemented during the training courses “I can do it! Support civil courage within the EVS” and “Stand up! Support civil courage within your youth projects” organized by the Austrian organization Grenzenlos Intercultural Exchanges. The publication is funded by the wienXtra‐jugendinfo in the frame of „Eure Projekte“.
