Devdan foundation is a school for disabled kids. Currently we have 8 students and 2 teachers but we hope that these numbers will increase in the future.
We provide students the opportunity to learn while enjoying a wide variety of social activities such as group play, music and dance, arts and crafts, which not only help the students develop academically but physically, socially and emotionally as well.
We provide scholarships, stipends, medals and merit recognitio to help and encourage poor, destitute, handicapped, disabled and needy students. There are no fees charged for boarding and lodging.
We also focus on providing medical relief by establishing, maintaining, assisting with the organization and running free medical camps, rural medical services, medical checkups, deduction of diseases in rural villages, etc.
Volunteers will be helping assistant teachers in the classroom and group activities.
Ongoing occasional tasks are:
group activities like art and craft
physiotherapy music and dance
Volunteer requirements / Skills
We are looking for vollunteers who are willing to work with the special kids. It would be great if they are talented in drawing, music, dance or in some extracurricular activities.
