Brief description and main aims

La Flecha is formed by a group of university students and professionals from different areas who believe in an inclusive and democratic society. From the organisation, they work in the construction of spaces that promote the protagonism of young people, and project a world that highlights the integration and leadership of young people in their communities. The presence of volunteers is valued as an element that promotes interculturality and interaction among diverse youth, in order to enrich the process of reflection and knowledge production, reducing barriers between different cultures. Their presence is an initiative that allows young people to become aware of other realities and encourages the formation of a citizenship that participates in the public sphere, in their communities and in their different spaces of belonging. 

Cultural Exposure

“Balvanera is a traditional neighborhood in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, known for its vibrant urban life and cultural diversity. It is characterized by busy avenues like Rivadavia and Corrientes, and architecture that blends the old with the new. The area has a strong commercial, educational, and religious presence. It includes the famous “Once” district, a key hub for transportation and trade.

Main Activities

The aim of the organisation is to promote the inclusion and protagonism of young people -especially those in vulnerable situations- through the implementation of projects that favour their social, labour and cultural development. La Flecha carries out four lines of work: communication, inclusion and job training, community participation, and research on youth cultures.

Volunteer tasks

Assist in daily activities.

Design of activities to promote youth participation

Preparation of spaces for school support.

Search for materials needed for workshops and activities.

Carrying out playful and pedagogical activities with youth.
