Brief description and main aims

Provide a safe space for children and adolescents in Lima who require cancer treatment, burn care, cerebral palsy therapy, or therapies for Down syndrome.

Santiago de Surco is located in the center of Lima. It is a quiet district, and citizen security is one of its main attractions. 

Main Activities

Inspira Shelter provides a safe space for children and adolescents in Lima who require medical treatment. Most come from rural areas or indigenous communities. During their stay, they and their caregivers receive accommodation, meals, and access to workshops. Additionally, the project helps caregivers adapt to city life while the beneficiaries undergo their treatment.
