Catmon Community Multi-Purpose Cooperative aims to become a premier, progressive, sustainable and quality service-oriented economic community committed to promote and enhance the highest level of self-reliance of its members. CMC was established to support local farmers and the community's economic development diversified into various sectors, including financial services, such as microloans, and agricultural support, playing a key role in empowering small businesses and farmers.

 

The Catmon Community Multi Purpose Cooperative, based in Catmon, Cebu, is a member-driven organization focused on fostering economic development, self-sufficiency, and social welfare within the local community. The cooperative serves as a platform for residents to access a wide range of services, including financial assistance through savings and loan programs, agricultural support, and livelihood opportunities. With a strong emphasis on collective empowerment, the cooperative helps members enhance their skills, improve their income sources, and promote sustainable local businesses. By prioritizing inclusivity and mutual support, the Catmon Community Multi Purpose Cooperative plays a vital role in strengthening community ties, improving the quality of life for its members, and contributing to the overall socio-economic growth of Catmon and its neighboring areas.

The CCMC promotes community development projects, particularly in agriculture and local enterprise with residents primarily engaged in growing crops like rice, corn, and vegetables, as well as fishing and small scale industries.

Assist in administrative works in the office, support in the management and development of organization’s social media, & etc., assist in capacity building workshops, assist in agriculture-related programs, and demo farms mgt and other relevant tasks

Flexible, open-minded, and able to adapt to the local situation, strong interest in agriculture, open in presentation and communication skills, innovative, diligent, and a team player with a sense of community.
