Brief description and main aims

AgriCOOPh is a non-profit federation supporting Filipino family farmers through cooperative action. The organization promotes sustainable agriculture and advocates for farmers' rights while providing capacity 
GIED 7 building, business development, and supply services to cooperatives.

Cultural Exposure

AgriCOOPh community is built on principles of solidarity, shared responsibility, and mutual support. Through collective action, PFFAF-Coop enables family farmers, fisherfolk, and forestry workers to improve their livelihoods, strengthen their communities, and address the complex challenges they face in a rapidly changing world. The federation serves as both an economic engine and a social support network, empowering rural communities to thrive while advocating for sustainable practices and policy 
changes that benefit all its members.
 

Main Activities

AgriCOOPh provides tailored training, consultancy, and business development services for agricultural, fishery, and forestry Cooperatives. They help cooperatives access affordable inputs, Market products, and offer credit services. Additionally, the organization promotes health and well-being by providing affordable healthcare through partnerships

Volunteer tasks

Assistance & monitoring of sales & marketing activities 
Management and analysis of some data. 
Knowledge capture, repository, and KM tool.
Assistance with promotion & marketing online & face-to-face, etc.
Assist in the development of advocacy and capacity-building 
materials, campaigns, etc.

Volunteer requirements / Skills

Flexible, open-minded & ability to adapt to local life situation.
Independent, able to work with limited supervision,
Interested in presentation and communication skills,
Sociable team player who is creative and innovative.

Location

Cebu City
 

Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)

Living with a staff apartment or host family (expect to have a shared room with family member or staff/volunteer)
