Brief description and main aimsWoodend Christian Camp was established in the late 1950’s (Woodend Youth Lodge) to provide our region with a facility to support and encourage youth and local churches. Over the years we have expanded our vision and now offer a great facility to churches, schools and community groups but still with our emphasis on promoting Christian values and faith in the Lord Jesus. WELCOMEWoodend Christian Camp is conveniently located 30 minutes drive, north of Christchurch. Close to Woodend Beach and surrounded by Pine Forest this 10 Acre site sleeping 150 and packed full of activities is perfect for school camps, retreats and team building/adventure days.

Volunteer tasks
The volunteer will be involved in a variety of tasks, including instructing activities, grounds/building maintenance, cooking, and working with adults and children.

Living in a flat on-site, with own bedroom. Meals included, with some cooking and self-catering
required with ingredients supplied by the camp.
