Brief description and main aims
Dar es Salaam Zoo is the private animal park which is
designed to provide unique and exotic relaxation,
knowledge and Safe natural environment for both
adults and children. As a popular natural attraction, the
zoo offers visitors day tours, school holiday programs,
venue hire and regular events for the public.
The project provides an excellent opportunity for
professionals who wish to study natural science through
interacting directly with animals and plants both wild
and domestic which are found in the ZOO.

Volunteer tasks
Working closely with zoo rangers to deliver fun
and engaging workshops, clubs and playful
experiences for children and young people.
Keeping animals and natures around the zoo
Supporting any other activities related to zoo
management if needed.

Dar es Salaam Zoo located at Kigamboni in Dar es
Salaam where surrounded by nice beaches like
Kipepeo, Mikadi, Dege, South beach and many more.
The place can be reached easy by ferry from the city
centre or by a car from the airport via Nyerere Bridge at
Kurasini
