Brief description and main aims

BIDEF, Inc. is a non-stock, non-government organization. An offshoot of various consultations between and among multi-sectoral organizations e.g., farmers, professionals, women, the religious, and civic organizations serving the grassroots. It envisioned to render and extend technical support to generate financial assistance to grassroots organizations towards upliftment and self-reliance within the framework of sustainable development.

Main Activities

• Strengthening the Capacities of Local Organization towards Effective Humanitarian Assistance”
• Vermicomposting Project
• CCCE PAG Project that aims to reinforce and build on the contribution of CCCE PAG-PR in strengthening civil society organization’s (CSOs) capacities in mobilizing effective citizen’s demand for transparency, accountability and participatory local governance.
• Hand washing Project
• MPA Management and Mangrove Rehabilitation that aimed to improve the capability of B/MLGU in the protection of Brgy. Lawis MPA for improved fish stocks and build resilience to climate change
• PROCOAST- A local Initiatives for Coastal Management in the Local Government Units of Alburquerque, Calape, Clarin, Loay, Loon, and Tubigon, Bohol, Philippines" is implemented in partnership with Zoological Society of London (ZSL) Philippines, DENR, BFAR, and BEMO. 
• DRILLS- A disaster Risk Reduction Initiatives in Vulnerable Areas Toward Effective Governance and Resilient Communities in the Municipalities of Loay, Loboc and Sevilla, Bohol Province, Philippines
