Brief description and main aims

The AnYe elementary school was established in 1920, The area is famous for producing pomelo, hence, it is also called the town of pomelo. The aim of the project is to teach the students daily life, rules and regulations, basic language, mathematics, art, sports and other subjects. Also, to teach them to interact with others and build team spirit.

Volunteer tasks

• Assiting English teacher in the English lesson and encourage students to speak English
• Introducing your country and culture and help the students to understand a bit more about the world
• Developing own lessons and planning some activities (kindergarden to 6th grade)
• Preparing special activities (special country week. cooking / dancing)
• Preparing story telling
• Supporting the Home Room teachers during the lessons
• Be present in one class during the whole day (the kids get to know you better and speak more often to you)
• Joining the after school club
