Brief description and main aims

Main ActivitiesCEPPA provides the training of professionals with a solid, civic and humanistic education and contributes to the development of tools that foster commitment to democracy, gender equity, social justice, inclusion and human rights. CEPPA has programs focussed on: creative response to conflicts and alternative solutions to violence. |
Volunteer tasksThe volunteers have the chance to work with adults, professors, prisoners (workshops in jails; always supervise by a staff member) and students. |
Volunteer requirements / SkillsVolunteers should be interested in social fields, have interpersonal abilities and be open to work with group dynamics. |
LocationThe project is located in Barrio Escalante, San José. |
Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)The volunteer will live with a host family. |
