This organisation serves the elderly population of Cartago with the aim of improving and maintaining quality of life, taking into consideration questions of physical, social, psychological and emotional wellbeing. ASCATE also cares for those with dementia, especially those who suffer from Alzheimer.

Volunteer requirements / Skills

The volunteer must be sympathetic to the needs of elderly, proactive and creative.

Location

The project is located in Cartago centre.

Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)

The volunteer will stay with a host family.
