The Library of Creativity aims to empower the children and young people from Quiba Guabal and South Verbenal as social leaders and entrepreneurs and teach them that their ideas can xcreate innovative solutions to their community's problems.
Some of the main activities carried out are:
Creating opportunities for ideation and creativity for children and young people in the community.
Supporting the development of the project ideas for children like initiatives to solve the problems of their community.
Conducting activities and workshops to promote reading and writing.
Providing access to technology and develop ICT skills for children and young people.
Documenting the development of the activities and disseminated through social networks.
Managing the necessary resources for the sustainability of the Library and the development of the projects.
The volunteer is expected to:
Support the development of workshops with children and young people in the community.
Support the development of the library’s initiatives
Support the dissemination strategies of the activities undertaken.
Participate in the creative process of developing projects
If necessary, support the administrative side of the library
Volunteer requirements / Skills
The volunteer should be:
Responsible, humble, committed and with leadership skills
Calm and tolerant
Willing to work with children and young people.
Preferably have experience working with children.
Important:You need to be proactive, motivated to work with young people, and full of ideas. Understanding the internal dynamics of the organization and the complicated background of youngsters you will be working with.
