Brief description and main aims
The aims of Amuri Area School are to educate young people and raise student achievement. |
Volunteer tasksThe volunteer will assist children with disabilities and special needs, provide one-on-one support for children with learning difficulties, assist with school sport, assist the teachers with literacy and numeracy, schoolyard duty, school camps and more. |
Volunteer requirements / Skills
Volunteers need to have a love of the outdoors and people, especially children, as you will be working with small groups of students aged between 5 and 12.
The community is small and located rurally, so a driver’s licence would be beneficial.
