Brief description and main aims
The St. Theresa Opportunity Center was founded by Rev. Brendan O'Connell, MM in 1988 and Sister Joan McCarthy, SP was the first director of the center. It is the first day care center, especially for people with disabilities in Tainan City.

Location
The St. Theresa Opportunity Centre is situated at the central of YuJing Township, southern Taiwan.
From the project to the nearest train station – ShanHua Station, is about 50 minutes by bus. From ShanHua station to Tainan City station is about 25 minutes by local train.

Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)The volunteer will stay with the host family or project dormitory, subject to project’s arrangement. |
