Cholmondeley Children´s Centre is a home for children aged between 3 and 12 years.
The main aim of this project is to alleviate immediate family pressures which exist for children and their parents usually when supports are not enough or not available for them.
The volunteer will have to:
Help staff look after the children who stay at the project.
Supervise their daily life, meals and recreational activities.
Participate and support the staff members in outdoor activities with children, such as trips, visits and events.
Volunteer requirements / Skills
Volunteers must have strong leadership qualities, be mature, sensible and extremely trustworthy. Volunteers live and work very closely with other volunteers, so they muyt be flexible, patient, open-minded and diplomatic.
Among some other requirements, we can find:
Have passion for children.
Patience and energy to look after children with different backgrounds and issues.
Enjoy living in a small (but beautiful) town.
Be prepared to be fully involved in the lives of the children in this community.
Our care is centred on the child, enabling them to celebrate the experience of childhood. We integrate the two aspects of care and education.
