"Fundación Origen" contribute to the developement of children, women and men of indigenous communities, living in poverty, marginalized and in emergency.

Its aims are:

• Promote human rights.
• Rescue the indigenous totonaca culture.
• To strengthen education and training of children, men and women.
• To strengthen social conscience.

• Working together with the local elementary school, highschool, the home for indigenous elderly.
• Support the cooperative of children artisans.
• Social integration activities.
• Fund rising.

• English lessons to children.
• Supporting teachers in their classes.
• Help children with their homework.
• Play with the children.
• Play board games with the elderly.
• Promotion activities and fund rising.

• Been aware that you will be living in a small indigenous community, in similar conditions as the rest of the community.
• To be open to a new culture and willing to share with the local community.
• Easy adaptation.
• Willing to work with children, youth and the elderly.

Desirable: Men volunteers 23 years old or more

Skatachuchut, Ixtepec, Puebla.

The volunteer will live in the project with the rest of the community.

He/she will be provide with lodge and board.
