|Brief description and main aims|
Friedehorts is a rehabilitation and care centre for elderly and handicapped people (mentally and/or physically), with 2500 residents (children, adolescents, grown-ups and elderly people). The aim is ti assist and help the residents in their daily life activities as well as to strengthen their own individual abilities.
Therapeutic workshops, physiotherapy, medical care, leisure time activities, group activities, school, possibility to give training in the technical sector.
Assisting the staff in caring for disabled residents (children, adolescents, grown-ups or elderly persons). Specific tasks will depend on the interests and skills of the volunteer.

Basic knowledge in the German language, willingness to cooperate and work.
Bremen (550.000 inhabitants), a city in the north of Germany.

In a house, together with other young people doing a voluntary social year.
