ACCEPT was founded in 1999 and it is currently rated as an ‘A’ grade care and support facility by the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) and partly supported by Karnataka AIDS Prevention Society.

The volunteer's tasks include:
Taking care of HIV/AIDS + inividuals.
Treatment and medical support.
Volunteer requirements / Skills
The volunteer should:
Have a helping nature.
Be hard Working.
Testing report of HIV+.
Be supportive and respectful of HIV+ individuals.
Follow and respect the code of conduct
Be able to adjust to the new culture, including the clothing.
ACCEPT is located in a rural environment. Situated in a quiet and peaceful area which is ideal for the HIV/AIDS + individuals. The climate is not too cold or too hot. We try to develop the projects with the least disturbance to the environment. There are at least five languages spoken with in ACCEPT. The economical environment is quite typical of most of rural India. In the village there are beautiful green agricultural farm with various fruits trees, vegetables, dairy farm poultry, birds, dogs and other animals, for income generation. ACCEPT is next to Vistar & Home of Hope Organizations.

Hosting Situation (Board and Lodging)
The project has a volunteer’s guest house. Food and accommodation are provided by the project.
