Brief description and main aims

The project aims to contribute to community driven development programs more on environment, cultural integration and agriculture.The project is hosted in Kimende community along Nairobi-Nakuru Highway one hour from Nairobi.

  • Eco- Tourism
  • Environmental friendly Income Generating Activities

Volunteer tasks

KENVO will identify three to five community activities that participants will undertake as services to the community.  Such activities include;

  • Tree Planting
  • Cleaning of Hospitals
  • Assistance in supervision of beehives
  • Accompanying the social workers on home visits
  • Taking part in community cultural activities
  • In addition, KENVO is eager to organise special events (workshops) on youth leadership and governance in environmental matters in the region. All volunteers are expected to be part of the organizing team
