FIYE is a Polish non-governmental non-profit organisation established in 1989. Since then FIYE has developed and successfully carried out a considerable number of long-term international volunteering exchanges and summer work camps.Each year over 200 foreign work camp and around 15 young long-term volunteers are hosted in Poland by FIYE. It sends annually around 5 00 Polish youth abroad, mainly short term.
Through the EASTLINKS network and then as stand alone organisation FIYE has been cooperating with the ICYE Federation since 1998. FIYE is an active member of the Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organisation, INFOYOUTH Programme, and UNESCO.
