United Planet (UP) is a leading international non-profit organization devoted to fostering cross-cultural understanding and supporting communities in need in order to unite the world in a community beyond borders. United Planet started its cooperation with ICYE in 2004 and became a National Committee Member in 2007.
As a proud member of the ICYE Federation, United Planet sends exchangees from United States and Canada to 50 countries worldwide and hosts incoming exchangees into the United States. American and Canadian volunteers have been sent throughout the world to many
countries including Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Ghana, France, Iceland, Kenya, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, New Zealand, Uganda, and many more.
United Planet's host placements are located throughout the United States in the Boston area, Chicago, Nevada, and beyond. Incoming placements range from environmental protection, homeless shelter assistance, support for the disabled, and more.
