ICYE Ghana was founded in 1978. It is an independent legally registered organisation and consists of a National Committee, a Board and Regional Co-ordinating teams. The programmes are run by co-workers, co-ordinated by a national office with a three-staff team, located in Accra. |

Projects include working with NGOs at day care centres for children, on farms, wildlife preservation, at medical centres, health education projects, providing teaching aid in schools, working with the disabled and with orphans.
Young professionals programme - provision of placements in schools and clinics for young teachers and nurses. |
