FEVI Ecuador, Foundation for Intercultural Education and International Volunteer Service, began in 2004 as a volunteer exchange program. FEVI is a recognized cultural, non-profit, non-religious and non-governmental organization promoting local sustainable development, intercultural education and volunteer community service. FEVI aims to promote cultural diversity, friendship and mutual understanding through international exchanges. FEVI started cooperating with ICYE in 2005 and became a National Committee Member in 2007.
FEVI organizes short and long-term international volunteer exchanges and work camps. Our volunteers are placed in projects such as day care centers, public schools, centers for at-risk youth, health centers and environmental programs in disadvantaged communities.
