Voluntariado para la Ayuda Social del Ecuador - VASE is a recognized cultural, non-profit, non-religious and non-governmental organization promoting intercultural education and international volunteer community service. VASE was founded in summer 2008 and started receiving ICYE long-term volunteers in local voluntary service placements working with at-risk children, disabled, health centres and environmental programmes in disadvantaged communities. Fundación VASE started cooperating with ICYE in 2007 and became an Associate Member of the ICYE Federation in November 2009.
